Abstract

Trauma centers have an obligation to find ways to reach out to the community and provide prevention teaching relevant to trends in collected injury data1. It is essential, especially during hard economic times, to identify possible partners with a strong link to the community who will provide financial support for such a mission. Trauma center leaders should look for opportunities to collaborate with local businesses and corporations to make this possible.
