Kentucky CE Requirements

As a nurse in the state of Kentucky, you are required to complete 14 hours of continuing education for license renewal, including 3 hours related to domestic violence (one-time requirement), and 1.5 hours on pediatric abusive head trauma (one-time requirement).

If you are an APRN, here are CE activities to help you meet your required 5 contact hours in pharmacology. APRNs with a CAPA-CS are required to earn 1.5 contact hours on the use of KASPER, pain management, or addiction disorders; this may count as part of the required five pharmacology contact hours.

If you are a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANE) credentialed nurse, here are CE activities to help you meet your required 5 contact hours of sexual assault CE each licensure period (forensic medicine or domestic violence CE will meet this requirement).
